## Access your Gluesync installation kit.

Upload the `.dat` licence file you received by email. We validate it locally, then retrieve your installation package.

**Drag and drop your Gluesync licence file here** .dat or browse file Validate licence

[Need help? Contact support ↗](https://support.molo17.com)

### What’s included

- Installation packages for supported platforms
- Docker Compose templates
- Kubernetes Helm charts
- Native installer scripts and CLI tools

Where to find your licence

Search for an email from **service@molo17.com** with the subject “Your Gluesync licence file is ready”.

Installed hosts usually store it at `/opt/gluesync/shared/gs-licence.dat` on Linux or `C:\Program Files\Gluesync\shared\gs-licence.dat` on Windows.

This section is for air-gapped environments where no outbound internet connectivity is allowed. If your environment has an internet connection, use in-platform OTA updates.

### How offline updates work

1. Validate your licence
2. Select the package for your version
3. Download it to a connected machine
4. Transfer and apply it locally

Offline updates are built for air-gapped or restricted-network environments.

Offline update guide

1. Transfer the downloaded package to the Gluesync host.
2. Place it in the setup folder: `/opt/gluesync/` on Linux or `C:\Program Files\Gluesync` on Windows.
3. Run the local update script (`.sh` on Linux, `.ps1` on Windows).
4. Confirm when the script discovers the package, then monitor progress until it finishes.

OTA update guide

Open the Gluesync administration panel, review the available update and release notes, then apply it during a low-traffic period.

Kubernetes update guide

Follow the [Kubernetes Helm guidelines ↗](https://docs.molo17.com/gluesync/latest/deploy-and-run/kubernetes.html).

FAQ

## Frequently asked questions

Answers about the 30-day Gluesync trial, deployment templates, and technical documentation.

Should I start a trial or book a call?

Start a trial if you have an environment ready and want to evaluate Gluesync on your own stack. Book a call if you first want to discuss product fit, architecture, deployment, licensing, or commercials with the MOLO17 team.

How long is the Gluesync trial?

The Gluesync trial runs for 30 days and includes enterprise support during the trial period.

How do I request a Gluesync trial?

Complete the trial form with your contact details and the source and target systems you want to connect. The MOLO17 team will follow up about the request.

Which deployment options are available for the trial?

The trial page provides Docker or Kubernetes deployment templates so you can evaluate Gluesync in your environment, including setup wizards for easing your journey.

Do I require any knowledge of Docker? Do I need Docker installed?

No. The Gluesync setup wizards and Compose kit auto-installer configure Docker and related dependencies for you, so you do not need Docker knowledge or a pre-installed container runtime to get started.

What are the system requirements for a trial?

Install Gluesync on a dedicated host, not on the source or target database. A POC needs about 8 vCPU, 8 GB RAM (16 GB recommended), and 250 GB of disk. Linux, Windows, and macOS are supported; the setup wizards configure Docker for you. Full hardware, disk, and network details are in the Gluesync system requirements.

Can I evaluate Gluesync with my database systems?

Use the source and target selections in the trial form to describe the database or data systems you want to test with Gluesync.

Where can I read the technical documentation before starting?

Gluesync architecture, deployment, agent, security, and module documentation is available at docs.molo17.com.
