Italian office solutions provider [**MyO S.p.A**.](https://www.myo.it/myoShop/home) wanted to **streamline sales force access** to its vast range of office products and services by **implementing a new NoSQL database** that would serve as a highly responsive front end for enterprise-wide data needs. ## Modernizing data access: real-time synchronization with MOLO17 Gluesync MyO faced a significant challenge: for security and scalability reasons, their IBM i system needed isolation from both direct access by external users and excessive workloads from multiple applications. The company needed to **offload IBM Db2 to Couchbase**, a NoSQL document database, to create an operational datastore serving mobile external users while maintaining the integrity of the core system. The technical team at MyO was looking for a Change Data Capture solution that would **support Couchbase NoSQL database, provide faster support for replications from IBM i** compared to their existing solution, support **additional pre-built connectors for databases like MySQL, Oracle and MS SQL Server** and offer the capability to **model data into nested JSON objects**.
