Gluesync 2.1.11: targeted enhancements to bulk loading, snapshot flexibility and usability improvements.

We’re pleased to announce the release of **Gluesync 2.1.11.0**, the latest update in the 2.1 branch of our real-time data integration platform. This release brings targeted enhancements to bulk loading, snapshot flexibility and usability improvements across the platform, along with updates and fixes for key agents.

This version builds on the momentum of recent updates, [Gluesync 2.1.10](https://molo17.com/blog/gluesync-2-1-10/) and [2.1.9](https://molo17.com/blog/gluesync-2-1-9-released/). As the final planned release for the **2.1 series**, version 2.1.11.0 reflects feedback and priorities from production environments, continuing our focus on performance, stability and operational control.

## Extended bulk load support

One of the headline improvements in 2.1.11.0 is the extension of **bulk load capabilities** for the **IBM i Series agent**.
Bulk loading allows Gluesync to ingest large data sets more efficiently, whether in initial snapshot loading or ongoing CDC workflows and in this release that support is now fully extended to both **Snapshot and CDC tasks** on IBM i Series sources.

Furthermore, this enhancement gives teams greater flexibility in high-volume replication scenarios and ensures that IBM i environments benefit from the same performance-oriented load paths available on other agents.

## Greater control with pre & post snapshot SQL

Version 2.1.11.0 introduces support for **pre-snapshot and post-snapshot user-defined SQL** within the Core Hub.
This enables administrators and architects to define SQL commands that execute automatically before and after snapshot tasks, for example to adjust environment state, audit activity or prepare data structures ahead of replication.

By embedding snapshot-related operations directly into the replication lifecycle, teams can automate complex preparation and cleanup logic with precision.

## UI refinements for clarity and workflow

This release also includes a series of **user interface refinements and bug fixes** focused on making the Gluesync control plane more intuitive and reliable.
Improvements to the **Modules Manager** help clarify module update lifecycles and reduce uncertainty during upgrade operations.
Additionally, several polished interactions and visual tweaks are included to enhance everyday interactions within the Core Hub.

## Chronos Scheduler: better snapshot & CDC resume

The **Chronos Scheduler module** receives an enhancement enabling **snapshot with CDC resume support**.
This means that snapshot jobs can now transition into CDC tasks more smoothly, preserving state and continuity without manual intervention. A valuable improvement for workflows that move between batch data capture and real-time replication.

## Updates and fixes across key agents

As with every Gluesync release, 2.1.11.0 also includes a number of **fixes and enhancements across the agent landscape**, improving reliability and performance for widely used connectors:

- **IBM i series agent:** fixes and enhancements to stability and compatibility.
- **Oracle LogMiner agent:** targeted corrections and improvements.
- **PostgreSQL agent:** quality and behavior updates.
- **YugabyteDB agent:** fixes and refinements.
- **CockroachDB agent:** fixes and stability enhancements.

These updates strengthen Gluesync’s ability to handle heterogeneous sources consistently in production environments.

## Upgrade and next steps

Gluesync 2.1.11.0 is now available for all customers on the 2.1 release channel.
Version 2.1.11.0 marks the closure of the 2.1 series. Therefore teams are encouraged to review the changelog and schedule upgrades as part of upcoming maintenance windows.
