Discover Gluesync 2.0 new integrations and performance enhancements, including support for new data sources and high availability features.

Gluesync 2.0, the latest release from MOLO17, brings a host of new features and improvements, making it a groundbreaking update for data synchronization and integration. This article explores some of the key enhancements introduced in this version.

## Gluesync 2.0 New integrations

Gluesync 2.0 significantly expands its integration capabilities, adding support for several new data sources. This update allows the platform to connect with:

- **MySQL & MariaDB**: now supports reading from transaction logs using bin logs, enhancing performance and compatibility.

- **ClickHouse**: can be used as a target from any available source agent.

- **SingleStore**: supported as a target, expanding the range of compatible databases.

- **Snowflake and Vertica**: both can now be used as targets, providing more options for data replication.

## Gluesync 2.0 Future integrations

MOLO17 plans to introduce even more integrations in the coming weeks and months, including support for ScyllaDB, Cassandra, Parquet file format, CosmosDB, Azure Data Lake, Redis, Binary file transfer, and Google Big Query. These additions will further enhance the platform’s flexibility and reach.

### **High availability features**

Acknowledging the importance of high availability (HA), Gluesync 2.0 includes several HA features in its roadmap:

- Primary/Secondary Architecture: a primary Core Hub node handles client requests, with a secondary node ready to take over in case of failure.

- Active-Active Pattern: multiple Core Hub nodes share the load at the pipeline level, ensuring recovery capability if one node fails.

- Multi-Cluster Active DR: different Gluesync deployments in various VPCs/data centers provide disaster recovery capabilities.

- Active-Active with Intelligent Load Balancing: multiple Core Hub nodes share the load at the entity level, enhancing resilience and recovery.

### **Quality and performance**

Gluesync 2.0 emphasizes quality and performance with a robust suite of automated integration tests. These tests ensure that every database, configuration, and operation is validated and stress-tested, maintaining high standards for reliability and efficiency.

### **Data modeling enhancements**

Data modeling is undergoing significant refactoring, with improvements expected in future iterations. These enhancements will focus on performance improvements and reducing the resource footprint at the source database level, further optimizing the platform’s functionality.

In summary, Gluesync 2.0 is a transformative update that brings extensive new features, integrations, and performance enhancements, solidifying its position as a leading platform for data synchronization and integration.
