These additions will further enhance the platform’s flexibility and reach. ### **High availability features** Acknowledging the importance of high availability (HA), Gluesync 2.0 includes several HA features in its roadmap: - Primary/Secondary Architecture: a primary Core Hub node handles client requests, with a secondary node ready to take over in case of failure. - Active-Active Pattern: multiple Core Hub nodes share the load at the pipeline level, ensuring recovery capability if one node fails. - Multi-Cluster Active DR: different Gluesync deployments in various VPCs/data centers provide disaster recovery capabilities. - Active-Active with Intelligent Load Balancing: multiple Core Hub nodes share the load at the entity level, enhancing resilience and recovery. ### **Quality and performance** Gluesync 2.0 emphasizes quality and performance with a robust suite of automated integration tests. These tests ensure that every database, configuration, and operation is validated and stress-tested, maintaining high standards for reliability and efficiency. ### **Data modeling enhancements** Data modeling is undergoing significant refactoring, with improvements expected in future iterations. These enhancements will focus on performance improvements and reducing the resource footprint at the source database level, further optimizing the platform’s functionality.
